In 1997, a few years after becoming an independent distributor, NJ CAR Services sales hit $3,000,000! Over the next 15 years, the company continued to expand its product line and add new suppliers. Major technology changes and a recessionwere hurdles in the ensuing years, but NJ CAR Services sales finally passed the $4,000,000 mark in 2013. So, What’s Next? Currently, the company has a staff of two outside salesmen (RichTrabilsy andRich West ), four inside customer service representatives ( Fran Nalbone, John Libby, Claire Zarr and Kelly Newman ), a shipping/receiving clerk ( Bob Nalbone ) and a manager ( Scott Kley ) with a combined 100+ years of experience. Orders are taken by phone, fax, email and in person by the company’s salesmen. Dealership personnel can also access the NJ CAR Services’ online store (www.njcar.org ), and browse the company’s catalog of products. Orders for stock/generic forms ship the same day and usually arrive 1-2 business days later. Items printedwith the dealership’s name take approximately 7-10 business days before they are ready for shipment. All members of NJ CAR are given an open account, provided they pay in a timely manner. NJ CAR Services most popular selling items are retail order forms, vehicle invoices, color-coded filing supplies, plastic license plates, license plate frames and embroidered NIKE polo shirts. The retail order forms are constantly updated to remain compliant with the ever-changing federal and State rules and regulations regardingmotor vehicle sales. The company’s license plate frames have the quickest turnaround in the industry and our NIKE polo shirts are the best buy for the money. If you are not currently purchasing these items from NJ CAR Services, we urge you to take a closer look. All members of NJ CAR have a stake in NJ CAR Services, since all profits earned by the company are returned to NJ CAR. These profits help keep Coalition members’ dues at a reasonable level.
