NJ CAR’s Workers’ Compensation Program now offers a Zero Injury Pro- gram (ZIP), aimed at eliminating loss exposure, creating safer workplaces and cutting dealerships’ insurance premiums. Fewer claims and reduced expenses translate to higher profits! Reducing a dealership’s potential losses can lead to a lower experience mod and a higher scheduled credit. NJ CAR Workers’ Compensation Program participants also have the potential for an individual dealership dividend at year-end. The NJ CAR ZIP has met with great success from early adopters. Just look at what some of your colleagues are saying about it… NJ CAR’s ZERO INJURY Program For more information about NJ CAR’s ZIP, please contact Charles Russo at 609.883.5056, x314 or via email at crusso@njcar.org . With NJ CAR’s Zero Injury Program, we’ve established a safety culture that allows our dealerships to experience consistent and long-term reductions in employee injury. All of our dealerships are enjoying the results of using the ZIP Program, including an increase in employee morale, greater productivity, and lower overall cost! — Eric Nielsen, Dealer Principal Nielsen Auto Group In the past, when the dealership experienced employee injury, our managers would understandably focus on safety to eliminate the cause. However, over time, we’d notice that employee injuries would again tend to increase. The NJ CAR Zero Injury Program provides an ongoing solution to this common dealership problem. Now our dealership can experience fewer injuries over longer periods, meaning a significant reduction in cost. — Taryn Buck, Controller Freehold Ford NJ CAR’s Zero Injury Program has helped open our eyes to become even more safety conscious than we thought we were. The fact that it helps us provide an even safer environment for all of our employees, while at the same time allowing the dealership to save money, is a win-win for everyone. — Mark Pellegrino, President Pellegrino Auto Group
