O R G One of NJ CAR’s primary missions is to provide its members with products and services that help day-to-day business operations at the dealership run more smoothly at a price and with terms they would not be able to receive on their own. Below is a brief description of three of the Coalition’s most popular products and services that have been embraced by many NJ CAR dealer members. HELPING YOU MANAGE YOUR ELECTRIC COSTS NJ CAR has been offering an electric program through Sprague Energy, for nearly eight years. Unlike purchasing electric from local utilities, Sprague works with dealers to create customized energy solutions. Not only do they offer competitive pricing, cost control, and budget certainty, but they pride themselves on customer service that is second to none. With more than 20 years of experience in the Mid-Atlantic region, they know the New Jersey energy market and match automotive dealers with electric suppliers that meet their unique buying objectives and help shield them from price volatility and unexpected cost overruns. More than 50% of NJ CAR members participate in this program and can attest to the value of this product. SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE THROUGH DOCUMENT SCANNING One of the core principles of every dealership should be safeguarding customer information. Micro Graphic Information Services has more than 30 years of experience in scanning and storing documents for Fortune 100 Companies. Almost five years ago, Micro Graphics formed an automotive division, AutoTrieve, and partnered with NJ CAR to offer an incredible service to our dealer members. Based in Saddlebrook, New Jersey, AutoTrieve specializes in secure Private Cloud-based document scanning. Automotive dealers can scan and store Deal Jackets, Repair Orders and other critical paper- work to help prevent identify theft and fraud. Human Resource and Accounts Payable files can also be scanned to free up expensive office space, save labor and make it easy to retrieve all documents. Documents are safely stored in exclusive partitions and are automatically backed up at redundant remote sites. Whether a dealership is being audited by tax authorities or supplying data for a manufacturer’s service or sales audit, dealers need to be compliant and are required to have a secure method of storing information that is easy to access when the need aris- es. NJ CAR’s product, offered through AutoTrieve, provides that secure method of storage at a very competitive price. AutoTrieve currently provides this valuable service to nearly 20% of NJ CAR members. BRINGING THE AUCTION TO YOUR DEALERSHIP One of the fastest growing independent auctions in the nation, ACV Auctions allows NJ CAR members to sell their used car inventory in a live, online environment that moves vehicles off their lot at any time, on any day, to anywhere. And the best part- the dealer only pays a fee when a vehicle is sold. ACV enhances a dealer’s established wholesale process. Automotive dealers save time and expense because they no longer need to deal with the demands associated with bring- ing inventory to a physical auction. Instead, ACV brings the auction to the dealership. ACV performs inspections, takes dozens of detailed photographs, and prepares a very detailed, transparent condition report. ACV’s objective is to stream- line the wholesale process while improving grosses, in just a 20-minute live auction. The ACV platform allows dealers to both SELL and PURCHASE wholesale vehicles.
