The key to successfully accomplishing that mission is an engaging and effective communication effort that keeps our dealer members (and their employees) informed about critical industry issues impacting their operations WHERE they want, WHEN they want and HOW they want. The Coalition utilizes a variety of com- munication tools to reach dealers, their employees and various other audiences, including legislators, regulators, manu- facturers, media, the general public and others, including: • NJ CAR Newsletter – The NJ CAR Newsletter was redesigned this past year in order to modernize its look, make better use of photos and graphics, and streamline the content to focus on NJ CAR and New Jersey-related news items. • NJ CAR NewsFeed – NJ CAR launched a weekly NewsFeed email in February 2018. This curated list of industry news links readers directly to the source of the story and has been well-received. • NJ CAR Social Media – The Coalition has a growing social media presence that offers followers highlights about dealer accomplishments, industry news and other relevant information. • New Jersey Auto Retailer magazine – NJ CAR continues to produce the informative, award-winning, quarterly magazine you now hold in your hand (also available in a digital, flip-book format) that is well-received by members and advertisers. • NJ CAR Website ( www.njcar.org ) – The NJ CAR website contains a wealth of useful content on both the “Public” and password-accessible “Member” pages. • NJ CAREmail Communications – NJ CAR utilizes email to communicate with targeted groups of dealer members and employees on a wide variety of topics. • NJ CAR Mobile Applications – Users who download the NJ CAR Mobile App (for iPhone/iPad and Android platforms) can access news stories, Newsletters, videos, training, grassroots, and information on various NJ CAR programs. • NJ CAR Videos – NJ CAR periodically produces short videos for our website and social media channels and will continue producing informative content and sharing third-party videos when appropriate.
