Not only does NJ CAR Services, Inc. offer hundreds of products at competitive prices, but every dollar spent with the Coalition’s for-profit subsidiary is reinvested to keep dues at reasonable levels and supports NJ CAR’s advocacy on behalf of the New Jersey franchised auto retailing industry. NJ CAR Services was founded as a not-for-profit corporation in 1962 before becoming a fully-owned, for-profit subsidiary of the Coalition in 1969. NJ CAR Services originally offered just a handful of business forms (available to order by direct mail ONLY) . Over the years, as the marketplace evolved, NJ CAR Services identified areas of the dealership that were being underserved and added more and more products to meet dealers’ needs. This foresight helped NJ CAR Services grow into a $4.2 million company in 2017, selling business forms, advertising specialties, imprinted clothing and hundreds of other items to New Jersey’s new car and truck retailers at fair, competitive, and consistent prices. In 2014 the company partnered with ADP (now CDK Global) to provide electronic versions of NJ CAR Services forms to CDK for their F&I e-forms library. Dealerships using this system can print, on-demand, more than 200 forms ranging from generic odometer statements and lease waivers to custom retail order forms and privacy notices. More than 60 New Jersey auto retailers participate in this program. In June of 2018, NJ CAR Services entered into a similar partnership with Dealer Track. Currently only stock and generic forms are offered to the dozen dealers using the Dealer Track e-forms library. However, we anticipate this program to takeoff in the near future, when we begin to add custom forms to the library. NJ CAR Services’ most popular items are retail order forms, vehicle invoices, Temp Tag paper, plastic license plates, license plate frames and embroidered NIKE polo shirts. The retail order forms are constantly updated to keep up with the ever-changing federal and State rules and regulations. The license plate frames have the quickest turnaround in the industry and the NIKE polo shirts are available at a great price. If you aren’t currently purchasing these items from NJ CAR Services, we urge you to take a closer look. 2019 And Beyond… As 2019 approaches, NJ CAR Services continues to be the leading one-stop supplier for automotive business forms, advertising specialties, imprinted clothing and dealership supplies for NJ CAR mem- bers. Staffed by two outside salesmen (Rich Trabilsy and Rich West) , three inside customer service representatives (Fran Nalbone, John Libby and Kama Dvorak) , a shipping/receiving clerk (Herber Pacheco) and a manager (Scott Kley) , NJ CAR Services is dedicated to serving dealers, whether an order is placed in-person, by phone, by email, by text, by fax or by carrier pigeon. Dealership personnel have access to the NJ CAR Services online store ( www.njcar.org ) and can browse the company’s catalog of products, 24/7. Orders for stock or generic forms ship the same day and usually arrive 1-2 business days later. Items printed with the dealership name take approximate- ly 7-10 business days. All Coalition members are given an open account, provided they pay in a timely manner. Look for an updated NJ CAR Services website and online store coming in 2019, that will provide dealers with a better e-commerce experience when shopping for our products. Every New Jersey dealership has a stake in NJ CAR Services’ success.
