On September 11th, Governor Murphy signed the “Motor Vehicle Open Recall Notice and Fair Compensation Act” (S3309/A4380). This new law, which goes into effect on April 1, 2026, is a big win for New Jersey dealers, their employees, and our consumers, but it wasn’t an easy process to get to the Governor’s desk.
